नमस्कार, मी अभिनव.

I build things that save people a little time, and sometimes a lot.

I’m an engineer from Pune who turns everyday problems into products people use. By day I’m an SDE 2 at rtCamp. After hours, my co-founder and I build GasView. In between, I translate WordPress into Marathi.

It started with a meeting I didn’t want to miss

In March 2021, in my first year at VIIT, classes were online and every lecture had its own link, its own ID and its own password. So four of us wrote a bot. You put your timetable in a spreadsheet, and at the right minute it opened the meeting and logged you in, by link or by ID and password, whichever the lecture had.

It was a hundred lines of Python and Selenium. It was also the first time something I built did a job for me while I got on with my day. I have been chasing that feeling since.

One of the four is on GasView’s founding team today.

Five turning points

2021 · VIIT, Pune.

B.Tech in Computer Engineering. I learned more from what I built between classes than from the classes: the meeting bot, a bit scrambling cipher, my first Flutter apps.

2022 · Housy.

An internship at a Pune startup building a services marketplace in Flutter. I kept its production app running, cut the iOS build time in half by trimming dependencies, and wired in payments and contract generation.

2024 · rtCamp.

I joined as a trainee in January and became an engineer in August. Since 2026 I’m an SDE 2, working on large web products for global brands: fast, accessible front ends, design systems and the tools editors use every day.

2024 · WordPress in Marathi.

I started translating WordPress into Marathi in April 2024. I have contributed to 21 projects since, from WordPress itself to Twenty Twenty-Four and Create Block Theme, and opened a fix for a flaky test in Gutenberg’s router along the way.

2025 · GasView.

In October 2025 my co-founder and I started GasView, so CNG drivers in Pune know which station will actually fill the tank. It went live on Google Play in April 2026.

Where I’m from

I grew up in Junnar, a small town under Shivneri fort, about 95 km north of Pune. I was the kid who opened his RC car with a screwdriver a week after getting it, to see the motor that made it go.
